North Goshen Mennonite Church is a community of Anabaptist believers committed to be the people of God, living as followers of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and by the authority of the Scriptures.
We recognize the importance of releasing and affirming the spiritual gifts of individuals in worship, leadership, Mission, mutual care, fellowship, stewardship, discipleship, peacemaking, justice, and witness in order to minister to each other and to share the Gospel in our community and in our world.
Suspended Services and Covid-19 Update
Due to the public health
crisis of Covid-19 our leadership has decided that North Goshen will not have
worship services this Sunday, March 15 and the community meal on March
18. This will likely be the case for several weeks to come, but we will
be communicating each week.
We recognize that this might seem drastic, but
we are doing this out of an abundance of caution in an effort to protect the
most vulnerable in our community.
Not meeting is an effort to limit the spread of the virus and care for everyone
in our congregation.
Even though we will not be meeting, we will be
working at ways to continue to be in fellowship.
May the peace of Christ be with you all.
Debido a la crisis de salud pública de Coronavirus,
nuestro liderazgo ha decididoque la Iglesia Menonita del norte de Goshen no
tendrá servicios de adoración este domingo, 15 de marzo, ni la comida de la
comunidad el miercoles 18 de marzo. Puede ser que eso sería el caso durante
varias semanas por venir, pero estarémos comunicando con ustedes cada semana.
Reconocemos que esto puede parecer drástico,
pero estamos haciendo esto de una abundancia de precaución para proteger a los
más vulnerables en nuestra comunidad. No reunirse es un esfuerzo para limitar
la propagación del virus, y cuidar de todos en nuestra congregación.
A pesar de que no nos reunirémos, trabajarémos
en buscar maneras para que sigan en comunicación y compañerismo.
Que la paz de Cristo esté con todos ustedes.
