Scripture: Deuteronomy 8:7-18
This verse is so powerful because it describes the human condition before God. We cry out to God when we are in need but turn away from God when our needs are met. In what ways can we make our thanksgiving more of a posture before God than something we remember once every year? I love what Paul writes in Philippians 4:  “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all things through him who gives me strength.
